My story
Born in 1989, Leslie La Sala obtained a Bachelors degree in law in 2011, followed by a Masters degree in law, specialising in International and European law, from the University of Neuchâtel in 2013. Her Masters thesis on the issue of child soldiers in International law was awarded a grade of 5.5.

She further pursued her academic career by writing her doctoral thesis in criminal law, specifically relating to offences against the State and national defence under the supervision of Prof. André Kuhn. During the time she worked as an assistant, she had the opportunity to teach practical exercices in general criminal law to first-year students and, at the same time, to gain experience as a legal counsel at the Office of the Attorney general of Switzerland, Economic criminality Division.

In 2017, she worked as a court clerk at the Neuchâtel Cantonal Court before starting her internship in 2018 with Pierre-Xavier Luciani, at Luciani Avocats SA.
Leslie La Sala is now a qualified lawyer and works as an associate at the firm. Responsive, perceptive and passionate about her profession, she uses her skills to assist her clients in legal proceedings, but also in extra-judicial activities, such as legal advice, negotiation and drafting contracts.​
She is fluent in French, English, Italian and Portuguese.
In June 2023, she obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Arbitration from the Universities of Neuchâtel and Lucerne, with distinction. As part of this course, she wrote a dissertation entitled ‘The experts duty to assist the Tribunal in International arbitration”, in English.
